We all know how hard it is to find a good lamp for your grand piano. After looking at dozens of grand piano lamps I have found one! It is light enough it doesn't make your music stand unstable. It is gentle enough it won't destroy your music stand. And it make enough light you can actually see!

Protect your wood and carpet floors with wood castor cups. Don't buy plastic because they will break from the weight of your piano. These larger cups spread the weight over enough area that your floors are protected.

The best cleaning products for your piano are made by Cory Products. They have the perfect cleaner for high gloss pianos as well as traditionally finished pianos. They also have a key cleaner which will remove the worst grime.

For benches <$100 If you have only $100 to spend on a piano bench, this is a surprisingly good bench. You might be tempted to get one of those cheap adjustable models for a couple of dollars more... don't, they break very easily. These are very sturdy and will take quite a bit of abuse.

Now for those for whom money is no object, here is the latest in hydraulic piano benches. I am sure you have seen these beginning to show up on concert stages, especially in Europe. My first thought was: Is it really all that stable? I can tell you, it most certainly is very stable. It is also very easy to raise and lower and has about a 5" range which is about double the usual artist bench.
